Porter`s Cafe in Superior

Excellent food here. I got the Veggie burger and it was extremely good. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Love the superior burger. Service was a bit slow, but atmosphere and food make it still worth 5 stars

Awesome little pub and grill in the heart of old town Superior, Arizona. Service is good and even the owner stopped by to see how things were doing. Very casual outdoor bar and patio area to chill if you want some fresh air or plenty of traditional bar area inside with plenty of table seating as well. The food was excellent!! The Superior Burger with fresh bacon and green chile strips was AMAZING!! Not hot. Just sweet chile. Very tasty. Homemade fries!! Worth a stop.

Enjoyed the historic rustic atmosphere. Food was good and service was so so.

On a busy day they were understaffed in the kitchen, so after waiting for 45 to 60 minutes after ordering we gave up and left. The only reason I didn't give them one star was due to the waitress and the Gentleman playing guitar.

First time visiting Porter's. Great food and service by "Mikey." Highly recommend to stop in, eat, relax.

This little place was fantastic! We stopped after exploring Boyce Thompson Arboretum. We happened to visit on a Tuesday only to find it was Taco Tuesday. They were great. Seems like a very local place but the entire staff was friendly to everyone who was there. Stop at this little gem in Superior!

Patty melt was melt in your mouth great! Fries very good too. And live music at lunchtime on a Monday-we were impressed!

We hadn't been in downtown Superior in years but noticed Porter's Cafe so we decided to check it out because of the numerous cars and we weren't disappointed. We decided on the salad and chicken wings. The cobb salad was large enough for three to share and their blue cheese dressing was the best , , ,The wings were so tasty and jumbo size that between the three of us we couldn't finish the dozen we had ordered. Our server was very busy but she was attentive and returned often to inquire how we were doing. Porter's maybe off the beaten path but well worth the detour.It's menu options may be limited but check it out online and it just might entice your taste buds sufficiently to make the trip.

That "superior burger" was huge, flavorful and in my opinion well worth it.. As for those fries, well those golden crinkle-cut fries were crispy in all the right places, I mean it could be safe to say they might be the best ones in town even. Either way good job porters!! You made dinner great again

We had the daily special which was green chili chicken enchiladas. They were excellent. A really fun and relaxed patio dining area. We enjoyed listening to the acoustic guitarist who played many favorite tunes. I didn't think to take any pictures at the restaurant but these from nearby.

Good people great food good drinks is all I want

I have been there twice. Both times we had very friendly and good service. The food is standard pub offerings done really well. The indoor seating is clean and has a mining/old west historic feel. There are plenty of large TVs and this would be a good place to watch a game. There is a separate bar on the patio and extra outdoor dining out there as well. Overall it's a cool place to hang out whether you want to be inside or outside. All the prices I saw were very reasonable.

Good food. Crowded in winter. Large outside patio. Had lunch with friends. I had a yummy salad with endive, walnuts, cranberry and a light Olive based dressing. Guys had giant burgers. My husband couldn't finish.

We love going to Porter's! Wonderful service and great food! They are following all the cdc guidelines, made us feel comfortable dining with them!

Gotta have a Superior Burger at Porter's every time I'm in the area! This last time, had a pleasant surprise of live music in the outside dining area. Don't forget that parts of Clint Eastwood's "The Gauntlet" were filmed on Main Street where Porter's is located. This old mining town is rustic and downright cool!

This place is always great... great food cold beer and friendly service

I would call this a bar more than a cafe. Nice workers there. Nice to see the photos of superior in the past. Food was good.

This place is PHENOMENAL the owners did a great job of capturing a balance between authentic western bar and modern coffeehouse feeling and that's 💯 the views are amazing, the service was spot on, and the food made a good thing even better! Really made me wish I lived nearby so I could be a regular... You know it's a good place when it makes you wish you could stay.

This is what it is - a dive bar in a small mining town east of Phx! Given that, this place is pretty cool. I have been here a few times now. They have an outdoor patio where they sometimes have outdoor bbq events. The interior is decorated with signs from local and AZ hideaways. Long bar with TVs to keep you entertained. The staff is friendly.The food is decent, but not great. (I have never been there when they had a bbq.) I learned not to order the fries because one time they tasted like fish, so they probably only have one fryer.Overall, a good experience for an afternoon getaway.

Guess Porter's Cafe has changed hands...Still good and accommodating, employees are great but BBQ pulled pork sandwich is sort of BLAH...No onions, pickles or anything to spice it up, just blob of PRE-wetted meat in BBQ sauce. And it's bland!Give option to have the sauce on the side, options of adding additional options like side salad but don't try to charge 5 bucks for little greens, 🙄.Overall, I'll come back because staff was accommodating and FRENCH FRIES were good. 👍

Over priced for the food. Not sure what the burger was but didn't set well with either of us. Awesome waitress. Won't be trying this place ever. Great interior.

Love everything about it, from atmosphere to the food great, great, great. My friend had the Superior Burger & Fries & I had Mango Chicken Salad. We will absolutely be back.

Great little place in Superior. Cool antique and and mining memorabilia on the walls. Good beers on tap. Good choice of premium liquors. My patty melt was perfect. Looks like they are able to handle large parties and bikers are welcome. I love to support small town businesses.

My friends told me this place had awesome food. I ordered a veggie burger and fries. Everything was over cooked, dry and horrible. The Waitresses were ghosts. I had to ask for mayo and more water. Don’t think I’ll be going here again. If u r going to feed the public Get a new cook and new waitresses. This was the worst lunch I’ve ever had. I do not recommend eating here. This happened today January 2, 2020 around 1pm.

I have been here a couple of times with friends. The wait staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of beer Each time we have gone to Porter's it has been for the Superior Burger. That's a good sized burger with pepper jack cheese and a nice sized green chili on top. From there you can pick your sides, I have chosen the fries. Both the burger and fries are very tasty. They have a large patio, so if you want fresh air, and nice views of the surrounding area, I would highly recommend sitting outside.

Service was excellent other than not having crinkle cut fries as advertised on menu, but other than that food was excellent! 🍔😋🍴👍Best hamburgers in Superior!

1st timer at Porters and even in Superior. Very pleasant staff. Food is made with love taste just like homemade. And some SUN tea? I will definitely be back. It feels like home here ♡

Poor service, really poor food wich by the way, was WAY over priced. Not some place we will return to.

Bartender was very delightful! I never waited or wanted for anything! Made me feel very welcome!
